School Profile

The Zhejiang University of Technology is a comprehensive key university in Zhejiang Province. It was founded in 1953. Its predecessor can be traced back to the Zhejiang Secondary Industrial School founded in 1910. , Zhejiang Institute of Technology and Zhejiang University of Technology and other development stages. Zhejiang Economic Management Cadre College, Hangzhou Shipbuilding Industry School, and Zhejiang Building Material Industry School were merged into Zhejiang University of Technology in 1994, 1999, and 2001 respectively. Through the hard work and unremitting efforts of several generations of industrial universities, the school has now developed into a comprehensive teaching and research university with a certain degree of influence in China, and its comprehensive strength has ranked among the top 100 universities in the country. On June 8, 2009, the Zhejiang Provincial People's Government and the Ministry of Education signed a joint construction agreement, and the Zhejiang University of Technology entered the ranks of provincial and ministerial joint construction universities. In May 2013, the Yangtze River Delta Green Pharmaceutical Collaborative Innovation Center led by the school was selected into the national "2011 Plan" and became one of the first 14 collaborative innovation centers in 2011 in the country. In April 2015, Zhejiang University of Technology was selected as one of the first batches of "Provincial Key Construction Universities" in Zhejiang Province.

 

The school is located in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, a famous historical and cultural city and a world-famous scenic resort. The school has four campuses: Zhaohui, Pinging, Moganshan, and Zhejiang, covering an area of 3,550 acres. The campus has an elegant environment and is an ideal place for studying and studying.
