A: Yes. Applicants without admission notice can also apply for a Chinese Government Scholarship. However, if your pre-admission notice is not included in your application documents, CSC reserves the right to make necessary adjustments/changes to the candidate's university, the field of study, support category, and scholarship period. Applications with pre-admission notices will be sent directly to the host university for admission confirmation.

 

8. Q: What should I pay special attention to when applying for Zhengzhou University Chinese Government Scholarship online?

A: Note:

  • Please select the Chinese Government Scholarship Program.
  • The application program refers to the major you want to study, not the degree you already have.
  • The major should be one of the existing majors in Chinese universities and depends on your actual educational background. The non-existent or incorrect main input will affect the result of your application.
  • Priority selection of institutions must be selected from the 279 Chinese universities designated by the Ministry of Education. Any organization not on the list will not be able to recruit.
  • The professional study time should match the major you applied for. Please check the description of each program for a specific school year.

Applicants for one year must have at least 60 hours of Chinese study or an MTCSOL HSK 2 score of at least 120. Applicants must have a bachelor's degree, HSK 5 points not less than 180 points, and a written commitment to engage in Chinese teaching for at least 5 years after graduation.
