If you want to study in China, you must first understand the admission information of Chinese universities, and if you do not have a clear intention to school, then you will definitely be troubled by the various admission guidelines, so I have compiled here a guideline to admissions for Chinese universities. If you want to know more, just read on.
Introduction to Chinese Universities
There are more than 3,000 universities in China, including more than 2,700 regular colleges and universities, more than 1,200 undergraduate colleges, more than 1,400 higher vocational (college) colleges, and more than 200 adult colleges. Does not include higher education institutions in Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.
There are many double-first-class universities in China, such as Tsinghua University, Peking University, Fudan University, Zhejiang University, Nankai University, Renmin University of China, etc. The categories of foreign students enrolled by universities include language students, undergraduates, masters, doctoral students, General scholars, advanced scholars, research scholars and various types of short-term study class students. For detailed enrollment information of Chinese universities, you can find them in the "Universities" section of our website.
The content of admissions guide
Although the enrollment guidelines of each university are different, the general content is the same. International admissions of Chinese universities are generally divided into academic programs and non-academic programs. The academic programs are divided into undergraduates, masters, and doctoral students. Non-degree programs usually include Chinese language training, winter and summer programs, and some preparatory education programs. The enrollment guide usually includes general admissions rules, application qualifications, application time, admission time, the introduction of majors and academic system, application methods, required materials, assessment and admission, required fees, payment methods, accommodation, and school contact information, and application requirements Attachment forms and other information. In order to make you understand more clearly, I have selected two Chinese university admissions brochures that you can refer to.

Introduction to Majors and School System
International undergraduates of Nankai University implement the "academy system" training model: Undergraduates study in general education in the International Education Institute in the first year, and then enter the corresponding professional study based on their scores after the first year. The professional learning stage is divided into two modes: one is the general 1+3 mode, that is, students only take three years of professional study in a certain major, and obtain a diploma of that major after graduation; the other is the characteristic type- The dual degree 3+2 mode for Chinese compound talents. After completing the first year of study, students will continue to study Chinese at the International Education Institute. After two years of study, they will transfer to the majors of international politics, tourism management, or international business to reach their majors. Training requirements, Chinese language + tourism management/business economics/politics and administration can be obtained. See the table below for details:
