2. Local Government Scholarship

The general application status for local government scholarships in general schools is as follows:
2.1 Application requirements for local government scholarships:
2.1.1 Basic conditions:
a. Applicants who are enrolled as undergraduates should obtain a diploma or certificate equivalent to a Chinese senior high school graduation, and be under the age of 30.
b. Applicants who are studying for a master's degree should have a bachelor's degree or equivalent education, have a recommendation letter from 2 professors or associate professors, and are under 35 years old.
c. Applicants who are studying for a doctoral degree should have a master's degree or equivalent academic qualifications, have a recommendation letter from 2 professors or associate professors, and are under 40 years old.
2.1.2 Other conditions:
a. Applicants must have foreign nationality, hold a foreign passport, be friendly to China, and be in good health.
b. Applicants must perform well and will abide by Chinese laws and regulations and school rules.
c. The applicant has good grades in the previous study period.
d. Applicants should have the corresponding Chinese proficiency and provide relevant certificates, such as HSK certificate, other Chinese learning and examination certificates, etc. Chinese language students and majors directly taught in English are not required for Chinese proficiency.
e. Have not obtained any other scholarships from the Chinese government at the same time.
2.2 Required materials for application
