In February 2021, the Nature Index announced the ranking of universities/institutions from November 1, 2019 to October 31, 2020, which means that the latest academic rankings of institutions/universities were officially released.
In the comprehensive ranking of global universities/institutions, the Chinese Academy of Sciences tops the list, followed by the University of Science and Technology of China, Peking University and Tsinghua University. The University of Science and Technology of China has been ranked first in the academic field.
